From my perspective, in psychotherapy, we deal with the narrative of the individual about what has happened in the deepest layers of their psyche. It’s a narrative whose details are often lost in the passage of days and events, or lack necessary coherence. Therefore, in my view, psychotherapy is akin to a form of relationship and conversation, in a way that is both memorializing and narrative-building; a sort of biographical memory.
In this endeavor, my effort is to accompany individuals in shaping their personal narrative within a framework of safe and professional communication.
