Me and therapy room
One of the valuable parts of my life is the hours I spend in the therapy room. In this room, words, feelings, and relationships find a new meaning. In this room, we build a therapeutic relationship with the patients; we get sad, see the anger, and experience compassion. On the path of building this relationship, we find patterns that have been repeated in the patients’ relationships and have harmed them and their relationships; we discover obstacles that have deprived the patient of the opportunity to experience intimacy throughout life; we look for feelings that have been suppressed for years and without them, the patients’ lives have become colourless, and we face truths that accepting them is painful but healing. In this room, we accompany to make peace with the inner self.
