Me and therapy room
As a sexual health specialist and a psychotherapist, I work with many women and men who have a history of sexual dysfunction, childhood sexual abuse, dissatisfaction with gender identity, and individuals with paraphilias and sexual addiction, utilizing psychotherapeutic approaches. Additionally, for over a decade, I have been working with women suffering from vaginismus (pain and fear of during sexual intercourse).
Based on my experience, accurate and timely diagnosis plays a crucial role in the treatment process of sexual disorders. Sex therapy is a form of treatment aimed at helping individuals and couples address their sexual problems, such as performance anxiety or relationship issues. You can attend the first session alone or with your partner. In the therapy room, the session often begins with questions about your general health, followed by inquiries about areas such as sexual education, beliefs, sexual function, and specific concerns.
