Me and therapy room
As a psychiatrist, I will be all ears to the clients’ pains with sympathy. This way, I can understand their view of their states of mind and their behaviours. Hence, by discovering the symptoms and their causes, I can try to find the strategies that influence their treatment the most. Throughout this course, if needed, for instance, in the cases such as depression, OCD, anxiety or PTSD, I will prescribe the medications that have proven efficacy in the research and are shown to help the clients significantly. In my opinion, the subject of therapy is a path to empower the clients to see and understand the problem in a right and realistic way. It is a path to find adequate solutions and attempt to solve the problems. Hence, it can reduce their pain and prevent them from reoccurring.
