Me and therapy room
In the therapy room, I comprehensively assess the client and, following an accurate diagnosis, determine a short- and long-term treatment plan based on the client’s needs. This may include medication therapy and psychoeducation related to medication use. The treatment steps are explained to the client in simple terms, and I am available to answer any follow-up questions.
For example, common concerns among clients include drowsiness, addiction, or weight gain caused by psychiatric medications, which often lead them to avoid seeking medication-based treatment. All these concerns are valid and understandable. By selecting the right medication, using it for a specific duration, and scheduling regular follow-up visits, we can prevent these side effects.
